Born and raised in Luton, Bedfordshire, England, Eileen Ashleigh Tate is the mother of two of the world’s most controversial figures in recent years, Andrew Tate (III) and Tristan Tate.
She married Emory Andrew Tate II, a Chess Hall of Famer in Indiana. Their marriage lasted 12 years, and Eileen decided to move her children back to Luton, England, after her marriage with Emory ended.
Besides Andrew and Tristan, she also gave birth to a daughter named Janine Tate.
During her return to England, Eileen had to take on menial jobs to provide for her children.
Sadly, Eileen lost her ex-husband to a heart attack during a chess tournament in Milpitas, California.
One of the few jobs she had to do was a cook and dishwasher at canteens and cafeterias to earn a living.
The Tate brothers have also come out a few times to share details about their modest life while growing up in Luton, England.
On a “now deleted” podcast posted on YouTube, Andrew Tate commented about his mother’s single parenting:
“I was raised by a single mother in England. I wouldn’t call my mother particularly nice or soft. In fact, my mother was mean and hard.”
He mentioned in another podcast that one of the reasons he wanted to be successful in life was because of his mother.
“When I first started making money, I retired my mother. I called her up and said, look, because she was still a dinner lady, she was washing dishes, and I said f*** that off.
Quit! I’ll triple your money. You stay home. And when I told people I did that, they go, you don’t think it’s weird that you look after your own mother? Like she’s a grown-up.”
He concluded with:
“Isn’t that as old as the human time where the sons make money to look after the parents? Isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be? I don’t know. I thought that was normal. To me, it was like the western attitude towards the whole thing was so skewed”.
According to Dailymail, Eileen Tate still resides in the same house where she lived with her children after the end of her marriage with Emory Tate.
The £275,000 end-of-terrace house belongs to a council estate in Luton, and Eileen lives there with her second husband.
Eileen Tate’s Net Worth
Although Eileen’s net worth is not publicly known. According to Mirror, she is a retired mom who gets paid $5000 every month by her children.
In a video posted on Tristan’s Instagram account before they were banned on the platform, Tristan said:
“The best thing about my money is the peace of mind it gives me to take care of people I care about. My mum doesn’t work anymore, I give her £5,000 a month. My mum’s husband doesn’t have to work either. I can give them what they want.”
