Kimberly Duane Mulkey was born May 17, 1962 in Santa Ana, California.
She attended Hammond High School where she led the school’s basketball team to four state championships, consecutively.
Kim graduated from the high school as valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
After high school, Kim attended Louisiana Tech University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1984.
She played as a point guard for the school’s basketball team during her study years at the school.
She also made it to the USA women’s basketball team, winning two national championships with the team.
