Early life
Jasin Todd was born on April 4, 1970, in Lake City, Florida, United States. Jasin’s love for music and playing the guitar began when he was very young.

Career
In 2001, Jasin Todd joined the rock bank Shinedown. He contributed to the band’s growth with his electrifying guitar-playing and music-writing skills.
The band’s debut album, Leave a Whisper, has some of the best songs recorded by the band, including 45 and Fly from the Inside.
Throughout his stay with Shinedown, Todd went on several tours with the other members of the band, and it was highly successful.
However, in 2008, Todd left Shinedown after the band leader, Brent Smith, fired him.
Smith fired both Todd and another band member, Brad Stewart, due to internal disagreements within the band and other personal problems that were disrupting the band’s growth.
A member of Shinedown who is also the band’s guitarist, Zach Myers, recounted that Todd and the band’s leader, Brent Smith, were into substance abuse and had issues with alcohol and drugs.
This prompted fights between the two men, and the band was almost dissolved then. Smith eventually fired Todd, thereby restoring sanity to the group, and he was also able to eliminate his use of drugs and alcohol.
Upon exiting Shinedown, Todd joined another American rock group known as Fuel in 2010.
Although Todd briefly stayed with the Fuel band, he made an incredible impact on the band’s album and songs.
After leaving Fuel, Jasin Todd began his solo career and has worked on several projects with other famous musicians.
He has also written songs and performed with the band Maylene and The Sons of Disaster. His style of music is unique and versatile.
Todd continued showcasing his craft and electrifying guitar talent with his fans.
